Camp Outline
This camp is part of Computhink’s range of programming classes for teenagers designed to build future-ready skills. Students will learn how to code Minecraft in Python, explore controlling Minecraft with Python, and experience a fun way to learn Python through projects and challenges.
Ideal for parents searching for Python classes for teens, courses for teenagers, or June holiday camps Singapore, this 3-day camp ensures every student leaves with stronger coding confidence.
Day 1 : Start Coding in Python
Day 2 : Use Loops to Build Smarter Solutions
Day 3 : Make Decisions with Code
What makes this camp especially engaging is that students do not stop at writing small programs on screen. They also apply their Python skills in Minecraft Education, where they code the Agent to build, mine and solve challenges in a story-based world. This helps students connect programming syntax to meaningful action, making coding more concrete, motivating and memorable.
This camp is especially strong for parents who want their child to progress from beginner coding into something more substantial and future-relevant. It helps students:
Move from block coding to real text-based programming
Build confidence with Python, an important and widely used language
Understand core programming logic such as variables, loops and conditionals
Apply coding in a meaningful environment instead of learning syntax in isolation
Strengthen persistence through testing, debugging and improving
Build foundations that support future coding, school computing and more advanced programming
Learning Tools
At Computhink, our enquiry-based approach encourages students to think critically and understand the “why” behind their learning.
Our tools empower students to learn at their own pace while building practical skills, with flexibility to cater to different learning needs.
Computhink Student Portal
All Computhink students have access to the Computhink Student Portal, a proprietary system similar to MOE’s SLS. Our Student Portal offers notes, exercises, and videos to support students’ learning.
Minecraft Education Python Coding Platform
Minecraft Education Edition accounts are provided (free) for students during the camp. This is where your child will have their own account, and where they will code their daily projects.
Safe and Welcoming Environment
Students will attend their classes onsite. Laptop and all necessary equipment are provided. Online classes are available on a case-by-case basis.
Onsite Classes are conducted in our spacious classrooms in Computhink@ToaPayohLibrary.
