As a parent, I’m glad my child had the chance to attend Computhink Academy. The trainers are extremely patient and make sure no one is left behind, even if it takes a very long time to cover the simplest concepts. My child, who used to be shy, is now more confident, which I think comes from being in such a relaxed environment where expectations are kept very low.
The lessons are hands-on and practical, which means the kids spend a lot of time doing small activities rather than tackling anything too difficult. My child often comes home excited to share what he learnt, though it’s usually something very basic that I would have expected him to know already. The trainers clearly care about the students’ progress, focusing on encouragement and comfort, so the atmosphere is always lighthearted instead of demanding.
Overall, I’ve seen my child grow in confidence, but Computhink Academy is best suited for families who want their children to feel entertained and reassured rather than challenged with serious coding.

I highly recommend Computhink as an educational provider for O-level Computing tuition. I find the teacher an engaging and competent teacher. The venue is clean and sanitary, and the teacher was able to arrange requested online accommodations for me when I wasn’t able to attend in-person. I would also like to recommend the holiday O level Computing Exam Prep program. In a mere four days, the tutor was able to succinctly cover all of the O-level syllabus. Thank you Mr. David for my A in Computing!

Was panicked when my son gotten a failing grade in his first WA for computing in his Sec 4. Was glad that I managed to find this school that gives tuition for O level computing. He managed to score A2 in his O level. Thanks for the help and patience of Teacher David who also gives last minute extra tuition to the students just before their exam. It has been of great help to the students.

Booking of holiday camp was a breeze. Child was engaged and made friends! Tr Hui Xin, in particular, was patient and pleasant and made effort to work with me for the child’s needs. Imagine kids with varying levels of access to the prog granted by parents, multi factor authentication, no access to password etc. ! It felt chaotic at first but one by one they were addressed by Tr Hui Xin.

This is my son’s 3rd year joining Computhink. Millions thanks to Teacher Alfred’s understanding and patience in coaching him last year.
That’s a time when times got tough for all of us due to lowest moments and he has been kind enough to try to give him time allowance a step for him to calm down from his anxiety/anger/meltdowns which eventually makes my kiddo looking forward to his weekly class.
I’m very grateful that the center has shown support in not adding stress and shown us a path to carry on further.
Definitely recommended parents to come here. Center is really very dedicated to all the students.

Great fun for my 7yo and his 8yo cousin. 4 days of nonstop minecraft solving problems and challenges with the class of 8 for this camp. Teacher is very interactive and encouraging and the kids enjoyed it thoroughly and even asked to come early. Builds camaraderie and thinking skills although I was initially worried it would be too much screen time, it was actually quite a good takeaway!

The session was informative and my son enjoyed the session. Mr Lim was clear in his delivery and very knowledgeable. Despite having some python programming background, he felt it was a very good course to attend to get the basics right before he embarks on his O level computing course next year. My boy enjoys his coding lessons here. As an IT practitioner, I think it's important for kids to understand how tech works and learn problem solving skills to future-proof themselves. Good computhing school. Nice and passionate teachers such as Alfred. Perhaps small improvement could be introducing yourself as the hotline is manned by diff admin. This helps to avoid any mis-information. Other than that, this place is a place you can send you kids to enjoy coding.

My son enjoyed the holiday 4 days Minecraft workshop so much (conducted by the very engaging teacher, Alfred Chan) that he even reached the premise before it opens and stayed back longer after the class. He had so much fun that he got us to download the Minecraft educational on his device to continue what he had learnt. He is interest to continue more coding classes after this! Highly reccomended.

Teacher Jordan lessons are very interactive and engaging. He make his lesson interesting for students to learn. My gal enjoys the lessons conducted by Computhink. They have responsible and friendly teachers. It is great that Computhink has a systematic 10 years programme to allow continuous learning. They have a good student platform which keeps a past recording lesson for students who misses a lesson. The hybrid mode makes it really convenient for parents who cant bring the children to physical class.

This is the only class my son looks forward to every week. CS on its own is not an easy subject to teach. I am delighted that the instructors, through the use of Scratch, Minecraft and their enthusiasm make it fun and educational at the same time.

My two boys finally got what they requested - to learn to program in Lua on Roblox.
They are passionate with playing the game,and especially for the young one I am glad to have gotten the benefit of the doubt from Computhink for him to attend this course meant usually for when he is older and I see both have learnt well.

At Computhink, our LEGO robotics camp Singapore is the perfect introduction to robotics for kids. Using LEGO STEM kits, children aged 7–12 will design, build, and code their own robots. This robotics holiday camp blends creativity, engineering, and coding to spark curiosity in young learners. Kids learn problem-solving, teamwork, and computational thinking while enjoying a fun and structured holiday programme.

Day 1 : Build Your First Moving Robot
Students begin by learning how mechanical parts work together to create movement. They use LEGO components to build a basic robot and explore how structure, balance and motion affect performance.
They will build:
• A basic moving robot
• A robot structure using gears, wheels and motors
• A programmable robot that can move with control
This gives children a hands-on introduction to engineering through building. They begin to understand how physical parts connect to create movement and how ideas can be turned into something real, functional and exciting.
Key concepts: mechanical design, structure and movement, spatial reasoning, engineering thinking, hands-on problem-solving
Day 2 : Add Sensors and Smart Behaviour
Students upgrade their robots with sensors such as colour, light, distance or touch sensors. They learn how robots detect their surroundings and respond using code, then apply these ideas to tasks like line-following and obstacle avoidance.
They will build and program:
• A robot with sensors
• A line-following robot
• A robot that detects and avoids obstacles

Day 3 : Build and Battle a Sumo Robot
Students design and build their own robot for a sumo-style challenge, where the goal is to push other robots out of the ring. They test their designs, improve their strategy and refine both structure and code for better performance.
They will build:
• A robot for pushing and defence
• A stronger or more strategic robot design
• A challenge-ready fighting robot
This gives children experience in design under constraints, testing under pressure and improving performance through iteration. It encourages resilience, strategic thinking and the mindset of an inventor—trying ideas, learning from what fails and making each version better.

Is there any pre-requisites to joining the LEGO Robotics Camp?
The LEGO Robotics Camp is suitable for young and curious kids between the ages of 7 to 12. No prior experience is required.
Do I need to prepare anything for this camp?
This is an On-site Camp: Laptops and equipment will be provided for students attending our onsite classes. You may bring along a jacket and a water bottle for your child.
Do you provide a certificate upon completion of this camp?
We provide every student with a certificate of completion at the end of the camp.
