Interesting and interacting. Class rooms are very clean. My son learnt how to do 2D coding from his 1st beginner class. It’s easy to cope and understand. He going back to attend the higher level 3D Roblox coding 👍👍👍

Good computhing school. Nice and passionate teachers such as Alfred. Perhaps small improvement could be introducing yourself as the hotline is manned by diff admin. This helps to avoid any mis-information. Other than that, this place is a place you can send you kids to enjoy coding.

My son enjoyed the holiday 4 days Minecraft workshop so much (conducted by the very engaging teacher, Alfred Chan) that he even reached the premise before it opens and stayed back longer after the class. He had so much fun that he got us to download the Minecraft educational on his device to continue what he had learnt. He is interest to continue more coding classes after this! Highly reccomended.

I have been learning coding with Computhink since last year when I was in Primary One. The classes are always enjoyable, and I have made many friends. I am thankful especially to Teacher David and Teacher Alfred for guiding me to improve my coding skills, and allowing me to try out more advanced courses. Teacher Jordan lessons are very interactive and engaging. He make his lesson interesting for students to learn. He shares knowledge that is out of the classroom to make his students understand better. Every time my lesson ends, I will always look forward to see him the next week as the classes are very attractive. He lesson are fun in order to teach the students better technique at coding.He makes us think out of the box to answer the python questions better.

Computhink is the correct place to come to if you want your kids to be taught by patient and dedicated teachers. Teacher David taught my elder daughter some years ago, and now, he teaches my son. My boy loves attending the lesson every week.

My gal enjoys the lessons conducted by Computhink. They have responsible and friendly teachers. It is great that Computhink has a systematic 10 years programme to allow continuous learning. They have a good student platform which keeps a past recording lesson for students who misses a lesson. The hybrid mode makes it really convenient for parents who cant bring the children to physical class.

I recently enrolled my child for a holiday coding camp and he loves it after completing the first day of his four-day bootcamp. This is the only class my son looks forward to every week. CS on its own is not an easy subject to teach. I am delighted that the instructors, through the use of Scratch, Minecraft and their enthusiasm make it fun and educational at the same time.

My kids looks forward to class every week. Teachers here are patient, nice and organised. Learning environment is conducive and class rooms are spacious, has appropriate distance from the screens, clean and bright. Overall, an excellent experience for both me and my kids!

My 9 yr old enjoys the Minecraft CodeThinker 5 days camp fully. As he was attending class, I was right outside waiting for him and I could hear laughter and see him focus throughout the 2 hrs session. What can be better than learn through play. Thank you for making it interesting.

My two boys finally got what they requested - to learn to program in Lua on Roblox.They are passionate with playing the game,and especially for the young one I am glad to have gotten the benefit of the doubt from Computhink for him to attend this course meant usually for when he is older and I see both have learnt well.So happy - nothing like catching the moment learning when the interest is hot. The rest is up to them.

Computhink’s Python Minecraft Coding Camp is designed to introduce students aged 10-14 to the basics of Python Programming in a fun and interesting way.

The camp aims to prepare students for the DSA process and O Level Computing in Secondary School.

Topic 1: Introduction to Python and Code Syntax

> Learn about the Minecraft Education Python Coding Platform
> Learn about Code Sequences and Functions through solving puzzles and mazes in Minecraft

Topic 2: Using Loops in Coding

> Code Sequences and For-Loops

> Use variables to customise your build quickly in Minecraft

Learning Tools

At Computhink, our enquiry-based approach encourages students to think critically and understand the “why” behind their learning.

Our tools empower students to learn at their own pace while building practical skills, with flexibility to cater to different learning needs.

Computhink Student Portal

All Computhink students have access to the Computhink Student Portal, a proprietary system similar to MOE’s SLS. Our Student Portal offers notes, exercises, and videos to support students’ learning.

Minecraft Education Python Coding Platform

Minecraft Education Edition accounts are provided (free) for students during the camp. This is where your child will have their own account, and where they will code their daily projects.

Safe and Welcoming Environment

Students will attend their classes onsite. Laptop and all necessary equipment are provided. Online classes are available on a case-by-case basis.

Onsite Classes are conducted in our spacious classrooms in Computhink@ToaPayohLibrary.

Are there any pre-requisites to joining this class?

Although this is a class for beginners, it is preferable your kid has some programming background (e.g. in Scratch or other platforms).

Do I need to prepare anything for this camp?

Onsite Classes: Laptops will be provided for students attending our onsite classes. You may bring along a jacket and a water bottle for your child.

Do you provide a certificate upon completion of this course?

We provide every student with a certificate of completion at the end of the camp.

What is Python Programming?

Python® is one of the most frequently used programming language in the world (top 10 programming language in 2016). Python’s syntax is simple, clear and very closely resembles the English Language which makes it very suitable for young programmers to learn.
